Whether surfing is something you have never tried, or is something you want to improve, we are here for you! Get up on your first wave and learn about local breaks here on Oahu! Our team is talented, friendly, safe, and will care to your specific needs. Here at Surfer Girl Academy, we are all real surfers.
Surfer Girl Academy offers private and group lessons, in surfing and body boarding, and we also provide surf tours. We are located on the island of Oahu. We provide surf lessons at uncrowded surf spots in Waikiki and Honolulu on the island of Oahu.

I love my job as surfing school owner.
At the age of 16, she took a lesson and encountered bodyboarding and started her career as a competitor. Winning numerous matches and standing at the top of Japan, she turned professional at mere the age of 20. She also went on a world tour at the same time and reached the highest rank in Japan. As a result of her achievements, she obtained an athlete visa and moved to Hawaii. Consequently, she attracted attention and was selected as a swimwear model for Loco Boutique, decorating the cover of surf magazines many times. Currently, she is a mother of two children and has a passion and affection for sharing the charm of surfing with children and adults through surf lessons. We aim to be the best surf lesson company while sharing our thoughts with our instructors.

Shuji is one of Japan’s legendary professional surfers. The 2 time Japanese Grand Champion has lived in Hawaii for nearly 30 years and is still a competitive and sponsored surfer. He has been on numerous magazine covers and still travels around the world surfing and shooting. Along with his surfing career, he also runs his own surfboard company “SK Surfboards” and provides both local and international surfers with high quality surf boards.

Winner of the 2012 Local Motion Surf Into Summer Women’s Champ, and a Yoga and Surf Lifestyle specialist, Yuko has proven to have the skill and flow mastered by a lifetime of surfing. She specializes in short board training and spreading Aloha!!!
